This was a very rewarding project! The garage was overrun with too much "stuff," and not enough storage space to accommodate it all.
By installing shelving above the garage door, we created a large amount of additional storage. This was key to freeing up floor space and allowing more room to regroup like items together and place them for easier, more functional access.
New storage containers, to match the existing, and painting the cabinet to coordinate with the black/grey/silver color theme brought this space together in a more uniform, tidy and functional design. Large labels are a key component in this space, to know where each item is to be found and put away after each use.
Is it just me, or does it make you happy to see everything put away in it's place, and even the floor freshly swept to complete this clean and tidy space?
